Nitto NT555 G2 Tires
Anyone had any experience with NT555 G2 tires?
I'm looking to buy the set of 285 and 305 tires and price on these seems pretty reasonable. |

Depends on your intentions with it. Overall, the PSS or PS4's is a much better tire but cost a lot more. My buddy has them and he loves them. Overall a good tire for the price.
Btw, if you or know anyone that need the stock 275/35/20 runflats, let me know I'm selling the two rears for a real good price. 85-90% thread http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=497294 |

I have Nitto 555 G2s, They have good wear and have performed well on the streets, track, any situation really. Seems like a pretty decent tire so far. I'd give it an 8/10 overall.
Yes very competitive price point. |

I have been running them for almost a year. Good summer/street tire, but not the best for the track. Hard to complain for the price point. They still have tons of meat on them and hardly look worn, but I've mostly done just "spirited" street driving. They still spin relatively easily until warmed up really good. But don't expect them to be a drag radial or track tire. Not bad in the rain, and or mild winter driving.

I have the NT555 G2's up front and NT05's in the rear. Don't have a single complaint about either. They've performed admirably in wet, dry and spirited driving. Ton's better than the run flats that came from the factory.

I have them as well, 275 front 305 rear. No complaints from me, they hook up well at 20mph in first gear when flooring it. I will probably be switching to drag radials in the rear now that we have warm weather though. Been on a few mountain runs with them as well and grip pretty well when warmed up! Rain driving is bad at all either

I plan on running the same tires as you in the front and back, how is the treadwear on the NT05's?

I have the G'2's 285/30, 305/30 on my MRR 017's and so far I'm happy with them. Especially for the price. I paid around $1050 mounted and balanced.
