I installed this on my wife's 1SS this past Friday and here are my thoughts:

1. The stock NPP muffler is much lighter than I expected.
2. I think the Flowmaster dual muffler setup is a a bit heavier which was a surprise to me.
3. The Flowmaster setup sounds better and there is no drone which is very surprising and pleasing.
4. Fitment was really great and experienced no issues. Everything lined up perfectly.

If you want extra sound this is worth the buy. If you are hoping it is lighter than stock that isn't the case. GM did a great job with cutting the lbs. out where they could on this car.

So you can confirm no drone? I really love the way the flowmaster sounds but I am hesitant to purchase and install because I figured for sure it had drone. The deep sound is killer

That's awesome. I have this system coming soon also. I have kooks long tube headers with high flow cats on mine so I'm hoping there is still no drone. That's the one thing that worried me the most. Thanks for your input.

100%. I have driven around for a couple of days now at all speeds in town and highway. It is slightly louder in-car but no drone. I still have the fuse in and set NPP to track mode all the time.

So the NPP suitcase is lighter? Amazing. Looks big enough for a 2 week stay. I guess GM knew what they were doing to keep it light. I guess I will be keeping mine as planned...unless someone comes out with definite better sound. I don't understand Drone, all I hear is the exhaust note in my car. Its what I want to hear, tells me when to shift. I keep mine in sport mode, not too loud not too quiet.
