I hear a few members having issues with HUD and polarized glasses... This might be something specific to Gen6 HUD? My Gen5 HUD is visible with my polarized glasses, no problem at all. I keep mine on max brightness all the time, glasses or not, yes, I love it that MUCH.

There are other threads on the polarized glasses issues. But basically, turn the brightness all the way up and adjust the angle. Just play with it and it will work with polarized glasses.

As for the feature I love it. I wish they put the speed limit on the screen with the RMP's/GForce and add the blinkers to all the screens as well. Maybe fuel gauge too.

Would also be nice if when messages pop on up the center dash, they popped up on the HUD too. Like the song choice does when you hit the favorites button. And why does the song name only pop up when you hit the favorites button? Why not whenever the song changes.

I test drove a 50th anniversary camaro but bought a 2016 2ss. I am not sure but I think I saw the speed limit also displayed on the HUD on the 50th Anniv 2SS. Right or Wrong?

It is( if you have NAV), but it is on its own page. He wants it on the same page as the RPM's, G's, etc.

I use mine all the time. I love it. First experienced it in my dads ATS. I love how the nav instructions will show up on it, easier to keep track of the RPM's during break in while keeping eyes on the road, etc.

I only use it for speed and speed limit. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread to me.

I use mine all the time, I forget how convenient it is until I get into a rental and it's not there.

I didn't have the HUD on my Corvette and it truly wasn't a big deal, but on my Camaro I do enjoy having it...especially seeing the posted speed limit. That by far is my favorite feature of the HUD.

When I first got my SS sedan, I thought it was weird having something projected in front of me so I always kept it dim. Over time, I got use to it love having it now. It's not that distracting anymore once you get use to it. Definitely if a car comes optioned with a HUD, I would get it. It's worth it.

Since I like to drive with the wheel about as close to me as I can get it I can't see my needle guages so I use my HUD all the time. Use the RPM and Speed display on my 1LE.

I use mine all the time but still tend to look at the digital speedometer. Guess I'm from the old school when we didn't have any HUD!! I do like it though.
