20% off pricing?
Will the Camaro see 20% off pricing like the Chevy SS?
I know it's a little like apples to oranges, but back in July, and earlier this month, GM had 20% off on the Chevy SS (was even shown on www.chevy.com). Anybody have an educated guess if that will happen with the Camaro (1Ss or 2SS perferred)? |

Doubtful. Since the SS is ending production, I'm sure the 20% is to make sure that they clear out all inventory plus the SS was a notoriously low volume seller.
If I could have found an SS with a manual earlier this month I would have scoped it up. Sadly most of the ones available were autos. |

I wouldn't say that the same discount would be applied, but there is a lot of camaro inventory that needs to move. There could be some big deals for camaros when the 18 MY cars start coming. They already did a 1k haircut on the msrp for all camaros.

Prices will only go up from now. Buy now if you want one this year.

I got a 2017 1LT V6 Summit White for $22,090 (MSRP was $29,090). I am thinking I got a great deal (right?). I didn't have to finance (through GM), and they only offered 1 at this price.
It's not the color I wanted (Hyper Blue), but for the price, I can live with it. I will post pic later. BL.

I bet there will be crazy discounts, pretty much the norm anymore. They got to get inventory down somehow.

Local dealerships have them sitting several have 3-4 of the exact same color/combos that have been sitting for 240+ days and they are not ready to move them they are only offering what GM is offering to move them.
I shake my head as to why I am ready to buy.
