Yeah I figured was an update. Was curious who else had them. The head unit didn’t notify me like usual that something was installed. Can’t figure out the notifications button. The other was rather self explanatory.

Always fun to see new stuff pushed to the cars. Mine isn’t a daily so it’s often times awhile before I see stuff personally.

I haven't checked, but I will. Seems like there is something up with the connection to my car. Can't figure it out.

Mine can’t connect for nothing inside the garage. It’s once I pull out and away from the house a bit is when it all works for me. Hope it’s nothing major for yours Heath.

I saw these on the weekend. Didn't mess with them though because I wanted to drive and not get caught up in newest bright shiny thing.

Do you guys leave the car's WiFi on to connect with your router? I did that a time or two and it downloaded about a dozen unwanted apps to the car. I keep it off now.

I never thought of that, I'm pretty sure I keep the wifi off so it doesn't connect to my phone.

I do pay for Onstar data plan so the WiFi is on in my Camaro.

My router is too far away to connect to my car in the garage. I’ve tried a few times with little to no success. I’ve hot spotted my phone a few times just to see how it handled that but usually default to the Onstar data plan/WiFi settings.

Have you guys had any squealing problems with the PowerStop pads? I ran them for around 15k on my v6 with no issues. Ran them on the SS for about 3k with no issues and now all the sudden if the car sits overnight (in garage) the brakes sequel for the 1st minute or so like the brakes are wet or something.

Yes. I bought the PowerStop Z26 pads and they would squeal a little when backing out of my garage when parked overnight so I switched them out to the Z23's. The Z23 pads do not squeal or leave any more dust than the Z26's. I still have an almost new set of Z26 pads in the garage. The Z26 pads still were a lot quieter and made almost no brake dust compared to the OEM pads though. I can't tell the difference between the Z23 and Z26 pads in stopping but I don't do any tracking.

That's so weird that the v6 didn't do it but the SS does and the front pads are identical. Thanks for responding, least I know it's not just me lol.
