I don't over-badge, and I don't de-badge. In my view, the car is what it is. I get more satisfaction out of detailing the car and having it look its best as opposed to taking badges off or putting some on.

That's not to say that you can't or shouldn't do it. I've seen one or two examples where the added badge helped the car nicely. As long as you are not trying to deceive anyone by saying that the car is another model then it should be ok.

Badge, de-badge, under badge (e.i. 'SS' > 'RS') is all a personal choice, so do what you want. Just don't 'fake' badge, for example don't put '1LE' badges on a non-1LE even if you've added the body parts to make it look like one.

Im not into debaging or putting badges on my car that say something its not.What I am into is having a car look bone stock but be far from it. Sure there's the exhaust but that's a common upgrade in the v8 world. I like suprising those v6 guys with full boltons thinking they are faster then a stock SS. And you know who you are.

It IS an RS so he’s not saying something he’s not, just letting everyone know he’s got an appearance package.
