Anyone use ADM Performance X Pipe?

Has anyone got the ADM Performance x pipe for use with their stock exhaust? http://www.admperformance.com/produc...55&product=120

I'm just wondering if it can be used w/ stock pipes and if anyone has used it what their thoughts were? If this can't be used with a stock system, does anyone know of an x pipe that can be added to the stock system? I pretty much broke the bank getting the car so I'm looking at an inexpensive way to add an x pipe. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

It looks exactly like the Magnaflow version, but costs less.

It appears to be a 3" X Pipe. I BELIEVE the factory is 2.5". I THINK this is the one guys are using with stock exhaust:

It was originally made to replace the h pipe in the C6 Z06.We discovered that the camaro has almost the exact same pipe spacing and works just fine,it will need to be welded in,as all need too.Any muffler shop can expand your 2.5 " to 3" and it will work no problem.Or custom transitions can be purchased for a 100 percent smooth transition, everybody makes them.

It is constructed of 304 stainless and is identical to the magnaflow.

Hope this helps.

We also sell the same magnaflow that summit racing sells, for the same price.

So it ONLY comes in 3in? That would be the kicker then. If you had them in 2.5in, you wouldn't be able to keep them on the shelves.

All thanks for the info. Looking to do the x-pipe in the near future and just wanted to make sure this one would work.

yeah it will work. just have to stretch the 2.5" to the 3" o.d. i personally will use the 2.5" magnaflow one just because i don't want to lose the laminar velocity of the exhaust gas as it expands to that 3" part then build back up when its bottled down through the rest of the 2.5" exhaust. i know it wont make much difference at all (if any) but its just for piece of mind from my fluid mechanics class in college haha

My thinking as well. I already did the Magnaflow 2.5 crossover but wouldn't have done the 3in for this very reason.

I has the stock exhaust also. What's the advantage over what's already on the car?
