2020 ZL1 Ordering
The GM schedule shows order entry for the 2020 Camaro on 5/23. If so, won't the guide with the updates to the ZL1 be out in a few weeks? If so, does anyone have an idea of when we'd see it?
I'm anxious to see if the front end is radically changed like the SS/RS. |

I wish they would run the injection set up like the ZR1, direct injection/port injection for top end, and fix the bog off the line. I plan on a 2019 for sure but I wi be close enough for a 2020 if the change is a better one !

I’d like to see this fixed too. However, if it is or already has been I doubt they’d admit to the change(s) made to correct it.

I am getting ready to submit my order for ZLE-A10. We got the deal worked out, car built just need to submit it. There is a lot of unknowns, like no assurance that the car will get picked up to be built anytime soon. I am ordering it in Stainless Steel, which seems to be a popular color. I am told that they wont pick it up until there are 5 of the same color to be built. The question becomes do you wait until it is sure to be built as a 2020, which increases its value somewhat when it comes time to trade or sell, plus whatever changes are made (I doubt there will be anything substantial but you never know). I am surprised that they are starting the 20/20 build this early, unless it is to make the front fascia SEMA corrections on the regular Camaros immediately. The ZL1 has historically been immune to the MCE changes (except taillights) that the rest off the line has gotten. Anyone have any insight on what to expect on the next years ZLE?

Also, the dealer would have to submit another order for a 2020 model if your 2019 order is not picked up. It won't transfer over automatically. We don't even know if Satin Steel is coming back for 2020 at this point. 2020 production doesn't start until 7/22/19 so they're not starting it early. |
