Perfect Ceramic Coating
So my initial coating was incomplete as part of the top layer was done w an old formula so they say, but destroyed the car in the process

I've used Migliore Strata Coating before, but have heard good things about GTechniq Crystal Serum. Where did you end up buying it?

Coatings like rinseless for the maintenance wash, most installers will tell you that. Learn to do a rinseless right ,it's far easier on the paint and the coating. See the link in my sig for a good way to do it.

As long as the directions are followed there should be no issues. If issues such as high spots arise, there are products to address that as well without stripping offf the panel to recoat. |

There are many that can be done by hand. But it's not for somebody that has never used an orbital. You need to learn paint correction first. Once that's accomplished, applying a coating is easy.
