Install question for Flex SMD LEDs in wheels

I purchased a controller and external flex led line and wanted to add some to the wheels like they have on their website. The video is from a customer on Camaro5. I called AAC and they assume the customer installed it on a dust shield. Being i upgraded to SS brakes i do not have rear dust shields and there isnt a dust shield in the front anyway, so how did they install the lights? I am thinking of using the back of the caliper for one side and making a bracket for the opposite side. Anybody have a better way?

check gen5diy.com - he has a kit specifically for this purpose which comes with directions. also, his customer support blows AACs out of the water should you need assistance.

The lights are installed on a metal ring slightly above and around the rotors. Not sure where the ring is attached but would think on the calipers.

Get some plumbers tape, cut 7" parts then bend them at a 90% and add them to the dust shield, ( black color metal behind the rotors ) add the metal ring to the plumbers tape and add the LED strips.

PS dont for get the blue Loctite for the bolt's.

That is what I used to do mine. I just made the entire ring out of it as I wanted my ring to be entirely hidden behind the rotors. Worked out great.
