Has anybody not scraped their splitter?

Last weekend going to a friends Christmas party I scraped the right bottom of my splitter on their driveway entrance. It was dark and I thought I could enter it if I went slow. Couldn't see that it was a slight hill and heard the awful noise. The driveway is flat and I thought I could make it or I wouldn't have tried. This is the second time I've scraped the right side on the bottom. I've been very careful in pulling up to curbs, but judging distance to the front is challenging and I usually find my car back too far in the parking space. You have to use the "force"to judge distances around the car. I'll just take some sandpaper and smooth over the damage. Not time for a new splitter yet.

Has anybody been lucky enough to not scrape it?

Been pretty lucky with not 1 rub or scrape. I always pull into sloped or inclined driveways sideways so that helps . At this point there is no way i could lower this one.

Couple times, no real damage. Just a few scrapes on the right side bottom. Can't even see them.

I thought I was when entering my driveway, but it turns out I was scraping the outer valance panel instead.

Got my valance, you cant tell unless you look under it, and funny you mention it, parking at my company Christmas party, just got there parking the car way in the back 40 of the hotel, I missjudged a curb and took a small chunk out of the right front lower splitter. Only I know its there, but I plan to take like you are doing some sand paper, maybe a jewlers file or something to it to blend it it. Almost ruined my night until the man soda started flowing.

I have found that backing into any parking space helps, I learned that with my C4 Corvette. I try to enter driveways slowly and at an angle.

I was entering the driveway that got me last weekend at an angle, but I still grinded it on the apron. I had to park it at a church two doors down. Now that I think about it, I wouldn't be able to own this car if I lived on their street.

Not yet. Only have 829 miles though. Had to put the front spacers back in it to get in the drive way of the winter storage building. Congrads on your new Zl1.
