I just installed mine. I cleaned the bottom and then cleaned it with rubeing alcohol. I ran the strip from the back fender to the front. I then removed the front wheel and the wheel well cover. I ran the wiring up into the firewall and wired them to my remote that I put in the center console. The rear one I wired it to the bottom of the trunk and wired the rgb thru one of the grommets and ran it to the front. I attached the front strip to the front bumper behind the strip that is located on the bottom of the bumper. I wired the rgb thru the firewall and to the remote. They are bright as hell. I'll post pics. I can answer your questions if you have any. Pm me

Ya post pics, what brand did you use? And that seems like a more complicated way of wiring.

I dont have pics of mine but would definitely do a switch inside the cabin for on/off control.
Another thing --- If you looking to do lots of LEDS in the future I would start thinking long term how wanting to operate. IE Night owl (which is the best) or another type of controller. |

Nightowl is a good way to go if you plan on adding more lights in the future, or planning on running RGB lights. Oracle aka Automotivelightingstore.com also have led strips u can order by the inch or foot. Like 5' a foot for a single color or 10' a foot for RGB. So in order to do both sides, front, and back will be like $160 for RGB or $80 for a single color. If you need help pm me.
