Busted.....well at least towed anyway.

Portland police report an uptick in street racing and tow 16 cars Sunday night.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/portland-...-racing-police

Quote:
“There has been an uptick in street takeovers, where participants block traffic to perform stunts,” PPB said in a summary of the night’s events. “Additionally, officers have noticed a more aggressive response to police, including items thrown at officers.”

Over the course of the night, police towed 16 vehicles, and charged and jailed 14 people. Police said three juveniles were found with a stolen car, and were given a later court date and released to their parents.
Anyone we know?

Why does it have to be a Camaro in the picture. Illegal street racing always puts our cars in the crosshairs for the police.

so there's an uptick in street racing or blocking traffic to do stunts? they are not the same thing.

Because in the minds of the average person even children there is none faster than a Camaro. It has to do with reputation.

We're dealing with it too. We'll have hundreds of cars/individuals trespassing on private property to do stupid shit. They've even started breaking into warehouses.

Just a bunch of stupid kids with nothing better to do and Mommy/Daddy's money paying for their cars. We arrested a kid for running from us a few weeks ago, I transported one of his passengers back to his house and his dad literally slapped the shit out of him in front of me when I told him what I caught him doing.

Rare sight to see parents discipline their children.

This take over stuff is happening everywhere.

Back in April some bozo's took over Dundas and Yonge in downtown Toronto and a Mustang Eco Boost was doing donuts

Kids are dying from these. One in New Jersey just a few days ago after falling off a truck doing a burnout, another out in California when a vehicle overturned doing donuts and crushed him. And breaking into people's private property to commit vandalism and criminal mischief.

Y'all think it's cute and fun but people are legit getting hurt and property owners are getting pissed. We're not stopping. The citations will continue to pile up, cars will continue to get seized.
