I really can't believe after two years we are still talking about these bench racing stats between these superchargers. I have a video of my car cruising around with my old school Whipple at 136 degree MAT temps when it was 100 degrees outside, but I can also show multiple 1/4 mile runs where it runs 30 degrees hotter than the 2650 at WOT when both are iced. I’m not saying one 2650 is better than another but this data point is useless in deciding that due to other variables.

Thanks ZL1'. Great times.
I'm out on the rest. I regret trying to be open-minded and learn... ha. I'll stay in my own lane for the rest of this thread. There's nothing to learn.

I concluded that Eaton's LT4 TVS R2650 was the best, or as good as any.

I’ve only used one and it has worked great with significant abuse for over 2 years, so I can give a recommendation based on that, but it doesn’t mean the other isn’t good. I know a couple high volume shops that will sway you toward one based on failure rates, but that’s their story to tell.

Obviously, I was referring to Kong's current version of Eaton's TVS R2650. You're certainly right in that most people, myself included, are just looking to go faster and have fun.

I think you mean the Edelbrock ported by Kong? Eaton makes the rotor pack that is in all of the 2650's. Kong ported my Maggie as well.

BTW, which cars came stock with the TVS 2650 blower other than COPO?

ZR1, GT500, Demon, Red Eye (?). I'm probably missing a couple.

HEMIs use a set of IHI screw rotors with a housing cast by Edelbrock. The 2650s released to the aftermarket in ~2017, this was the first time Eaton ever released a new rotor design to the aftermarket before an OEM.

Thanks for clarifying, Mike. I knew Dodge had some kind of ~2.6 liter supercharger and just assumed it was there as well.

I'm selecting a top pulley based on shifting at 7000. What has been your experience?

It’ll come down to goals, keeping in mind that a SBE is generally good to about ~1,050 RWHP on a PD blower before you need to start worrying about powdered forged rods and bearings. With a ported 2650 you’ll start getting there at around 18-20k RPM, depending on engine efficiency with head work. I would get an upper/lower pulley combo that gets you in that blower RPM range at 7k RPM.

Magnuson built a 2650 for those but I think Harrup builds the Mopar blowers and I believe they are smaller then the 2650s. I could be wrong but I remember talking to Herman that has the POD cast I he was asking me about going to the 2650 from his stock blower on his Mopar

Older Hellcats utilized a 2.4...The Demon, Redeye, and Super Stock use a 2.7.
