Btw, I got reported qutie few cars had the front seal blow here in Korea, too.

The solution for it is adding another breather or opening all PCV lines and breathers to the air (seems stock pcv system is not working properly for FI engine.) , then...

https://youtu.be/2lFEjeDrrrY

the amount of the gas is different depends on the engine, but, usually you can see quite excessive blowbygas from all breathers like the link.

even with the blowbygas , the car is working well without any noise and abnormal sound from the engine and still fast (the dyno number is still the same as before)

What I am wondering is whether the engine is Ok or not with the situation.
Have anyone tried to checked the pistons and rings with the seal blown?

Shinysun, I don’t think that yellow cap offers enough extra breathing for a boosted motor. I have a 5/8” hose from each valve cover to a catch can/breather and will probably still add a fill cap breather.

Nice system.
Where are the 2 x 5/8" hoses going? to air vent?

I just added a fill cap breather, but seems ok so far.

They goto a vented catch can. You can see the top of the filter in the pic.

So Parish are you going to spray a little NOS to spool the turbos?

I all ready did. a 100 shot right off the line until it hits ~5psi. it dropped me from a 6.88 to a 6.48 in the 1/8th. I will be running a circle D converter in the spring so I am not sure what I will need to do but with some forged pistons and a converter to get the rpms up a little off the line I will be able to spray more than a 100shot if I need to. that being said with the converter I may not need too. I will have a lot of adjustability in when and how much power I want to make.

I was worried about this as well, which is why I ran the Might Mouse wild catch can. One hose runs from the oil cap (The catch can came with a new fitting to replace the factory oil cap) and the other hose ran to the throttle body and capping off the valley cover connector. I hope it does the trick.

Tight fit with the procharger but fits nonetheless.

Metco 1 way valve cover breather.

If you installed your procharger, please look at my post on the shrouds.

Looks like a larger issue. Was told compression was equalling lower on cylinders 4 and 6. Pulling the motor. More info to come.

I'm still thinking drop-in now, while the engine is apart. What boost and HP were you running?

Was sitting just over 600 @ about 9-10 PSI with about 14k hard miles. It would be hard not to do a bunch of stuff while the engines out.
