My response was not meant to criticize it was meant to educate.

Do you mount your honda turbos in the rear?

Are you a home builder or a Vendor?

Best of luck on your build.

When my setup is done and figured though i will be a paid vendor and happy to help anyone obtain some atmospheric crack lol (boost)

Looks expensive:(
But also looks like it is capable of a lot of power!
Also looks intimidating!
Atmospheric Crack...priceless!

I find it interesting that every photo you post up has the turbo within a foot of the engine block and now you are planning on putting the turbo 10+ feet away on your Camaro?

I also know first hand that you can build a turbo car that runs amazing 1/4 miles because in the 1/4 mile you keep the throttle wide open..... but when you try to drive the same car on the street it is pretty near undriveable because every time you roll off and back on the throttle you set the engine up for another episode of turbo lag and when the big turbos finally start making boost they almost rip your head off.....

I'm not saying it can't work but you are not going about it the easy way if you put the turbo in the back. I would want to drive a car with the kit before I bought it. The more boost pressure you run the more the lag is going to be a factor....and the harder it is going to hit when it finally does start to make boost.

kiddo says the air filter is big enough
Lots of fab work to do tomorrow.
Goals are to fully build out and mount the subframe
Mount the turbo and do exhaust and intake pipes
Build oil system

Waiting on intercooler core to come in still, hopefully it makes it in tomorrow otherwise we may be waiting till the beginning of the week to button it all up.

Spent nearly $300 just on oil lines today, gosh I forgot how expensive those are haha. I have a professional hydraulic line making shop right beside mine so after everything is proven and a final design is settled I'll let them take care of the lines for a fraction of that price.

Also talking with several companies on means of adding additional injectors upstream for my billet intake so we can push some big nice power safely. Either that or a highly upgraded Direct Inject system.

Stay tuned for progress as it happens tomorrow.

for the kit I will be building it to work with factory intake manifold so I'll be pulling off my billet on there.

Initial dyno will be done on stock intake as well.
I have a friend with a 800whp 5.3 DI LT silverado that will be throwing on my billet intake.

We will be making a few revisions to the billet intake and adding in the additional injectors and designing a new fuel system (unless I can secure highly upgraded DI pump and injectors and the price is on par or better)
Re vamping the intake will be the month of Aug project.

This month is all about boost

Got a late start today because we had to machine out the flanges that bolt to the header so started fabbing at about 1pm

here is today's progress:

Tomorrow the full exhaust should be done
Turbo mounted
Charge pipes routed to the front (but not underhood done yet)

Then later in the evening I need to go bend some sheet metal for the intercooler.

Sunday
Aiming to have full oil system, intercooler, final charge pipe bits all finished. And mount in the oil pressure for separate oil system in the back, boost and wideband all ready for tuning next week.
