Saw it yesterday in person at my Dealer

Dry weight 3300 according to the pretty boy that loads it on and off the trailer!
Better transmission than the A10 according to him
They dyoned that car up in dallas before it came to Houston and it made 515 and 495 at the tires, the Zl1 makes 550. Something tells me roll race, 0 to 60, and 1/4 mile the zl1 will lose!

Something that I thought was weird that it had MP4S with a Tread wear of 540 AA

I am ordering the 2LT Z51 with MRC and front lift. With a few add ons it comes out to around $77K. Soo worth it!!

That may be the new all season Michelin... was supposedly in development specifically for the C8. I'm hoping they make them in ZL1 sizes eventually.

So you're comparing a convertible top a non convertible car. Got it.... You know a hard top ZL1 is the same or cheaper price that a C8.

This is a apples to orange comparison on a Corvette vs a ZL1. Lighter car vs a heavier car (especially a convertible ZL1).

Go get yourself a Vette. The C8 is awesome. It's a newer platform than the 6th gen Camaro. So it better be faster.

Since it is lighter, mid engine, has a different trans, rear end, etc.

By the way, doing research can yield better results by searching yourself. If you knew the 2LT came with all those features, I'm sure you could clearly compare it to a ZL1. I mean, it's not like Chevrolet's website doesn't have that capability.....

the back is 305 20
the front was 19 or 20s as well 285

looking down the side the 305s in back didn't come near the fender, they definitely left room for a 345 or 355. i pointed it out to the Corvette guy "they definitely plan ahead!"

I feel like I might need a C8 for comparing my Z. When I configured what I wanted came to 85k. I added a lot of non speed parts like lift, engine lights, big wang! Haven’t put my deposit down yet. Might happen soon.

According to R&T, C8 sizes are 245/35/19 front and 305/30/20 rear. So we just need a 285/30-20 front...

EDIT: this is the article that turned me on to the new tire: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a2...-season-tires/

mostly speculation, but so far doesn't seem to be a FI LT2 in the works.

Except that, according to Chevy's site, the 2LT doesn't even offer those features nor the required package to get them. You have to get a 3LT.

Although I suppose in 2017 maybe they did offer it on a 2LT. Not sure.

Either way going to Chevy's website was clearly way too hard for the OP.

Huh? You quoted someone saying it has 305s on the back and replied saying no it had 305s on the back?

And 245s is the correct front tire size.
