Hurricane DORIAN - your plans for your ride?
For us here in South/central Florida, we’re watching intently all the different tracks coming out of national hurricane Center. Currently it shows it coming in at Vero Beach or so, but that can change big time. What are your plans to take care of your car? I’m pretty safe in that I’m on the second floor of a completely enclosed concrete hurricane proof condo garage… But you never know!

Thankfully, mine will be tucked away in the garage. Let's hope she keeps wobbling north.

mine will be garaged unless i HAVE to work tuesday.in that case ive got insurance on it,but im really hoping for a miss or a day off of work.we lost the roof on our house in 2004 due to a hurricane,they are no joke.

Bracing the garage door with a few 2x10's and some big bolts. Worked well with Irma (cat-2) in 2017. Plywood on all the windows. House can handle a cat-3 fine.
Gonna be a long weekend. |

I can't get to my garage due to it being worked on, so I don't know what to do at the moment, and it... sucks. I have a lot of trees around me too.

Well ....if Dorian takes the car, so be it. I'm not worried one iota. I love it but it's not that important to me.
Will buy another, probably A10 this time, or just buy the new C8. Just hope we all stay safe. Cheers |
