UMMM...... IS THIS TIRE WEAR A SIGN OF A SUSPENSION PROBLEM?

Yes, I am buying new tires already as was planned, but I just saw this wear on the inside of my tires and I suspect it may be because of the mrc. Help?

Pics? Also is it on the front/rear tires? Or all 4? Have you had Chevy look at the alignment?

Im in the process of finding a new dealership, but I do plan on taking it in to find out. It isn't on the front tires, just on the rear. Suspension would cause this right?

Yep thats looks like alot of negative camber and/or too much toe out on the rear.

Holy Molly that looks bad. They definitely cant blame that on wear and tear.

well, there is definitely something wrong...could be bad suspension part (toe link maybe? there is a TSB for them) or just bad alignment.

post a pic of your fronts.

Slight toe in for handling is pretty common. Just looks to me like you did 100 burnouts lol...

I was thinking the same thing...at 11K how many times has he smoked them to look that bad. If he hasn't been ragging it out, then there is definitely something wrong.

Very possible. Toe links could've been broken or cracked actually. There is a "recall" going on right now. Given that the OP did not constantly launch, oversteer and did burnouts lol. Also the alignment from factory on no car is perfect, it always wacks out of balance.

Please check https://my.gm.com/recalls with your VIN and even if it doesn't pop up anything for you, definitely go to the dealership to check the toe links as well as your alignment and compare it to stock specs.

Who waits for the belts to show to question if something is wrong? Haha

Are the tires square on these cars? Could be from lack of rotation, over or under inflation, alignment, or lots of hard acceleration and/or burnouts.

Lol, Ive done a few burnouts, but definitely not enough to cause that much excess wear

If I had known the tires wee in that shape they would have been replaced sooner. My wife and I just got back from a 6000 mile roadtrip. Hence, the extra miles. So, after all the driving, I wanted to do a good wash on my baby which is when I noticed the tire wear
