why are the V6 Camaro's holding there Value

Was just Checking in
My 2010 is Still holding its value pretty well
Is it just certain Models of V6, our all of the V6's still holding as good

KBB puts mine at 10 - 13,000
For an 11 year old that's pretty good

Probably simply because everything used is holding its value. KBB is pretty generous though I saw where they whacked my value 2% last week.

Agreed, it’s more likely a reflection of the entire market than increased value of your specific model. You could probably find charts of historical values if you wanted to analyze it .

Something else to consider is that modifications can impact the value.

Holy crap, my trade in value (red 2LS) came back as $17,875.
Range was $16,500 to $19300.
Funny but I kept getting offers by mail over a year ago to give me $7200 on trade in.

Maybe now is the time to trade in for a Hemi!

Just an FYI most dealers seem to use NADA.

Looks Nice

If you don't mind where did you get the side skirts. I really would like to add them to my RS.

This thread made me curious to see what mine was valued at. I didn't really find much in the way of valuation, but I did find my exact car listed for sale by a scammer, lol.

It’s used car values in general are up right now, not that a particular engine/option has held value. The same vehicle a year or two ago was likely worth less than today. My V6 was totalled 3 yrs ago when I was hit, had the same thing happened today I woulda got more from the insurance company than I did 3yrs ago. The SS vert I bought to replace my V6 I could right now sell for thousands more than I paid for it 3 yrs ago. My truck is currently valued at the same price I paid for it 7yrs ago. I was looking to replace my truck but options I’ve been looking at have increased in price so much lately(I’ve been looking for over a year, the exact same vehicle I was looking at last year currently cost so much more today, in some cases $15k more for same year/model/options and similar mileage). My brother-in-law bought a new truck last year, he just traded it in and trade in value was more than he paid for it only a yr ago, and dealer then listed it for $10k more than that. So it’s not specific to the V6 camaro holding its value, its every used vehicle is currently up in value.

They came on the Car from the Factory, in 2010 you could order them installed, but not painted

So my color scheme is Orange, Black Rally Stripes, and Argent Gray Ground Effects

I think 5th gems will jump in value over time kinda like the Toyota Supra. Not Paul Walker Fast and Furious numbers.

Not sure if that's a typo or intentional but I sure like the moniker "5th GEMS"!
