The ZL E posted up a 7:16:04 time while the C8 posted up 7:29:9. Not bad for NA tho.

Wasn't there a late in the day, unofficial run, with little timing where the ZL1 went 7:25ish. Yes, I know that times are not official under any circumstance. It is a public road and you may encounter traffic. All that being said, I seemed to remember reading about that late in the day run, somewhere.

I wonder what tires it was using?
I believe the ZL1 was using stock goodyear supercar 3 tires for its run. The ZL1 1LE was using the 3Rs. The Z06 corvette was using a different Michelin type tire i think All being said, that is very impressive for the BASE model putting down this level of performance....what will the Z06 put down? whew!!...

That's a pretty stout time for a base model car. I imagine that they ran this with the Z51 + magnetic ride package. I wonder if this was done with or without aero.

Yes the vette has a MP4S said to be a different compound at least that's what the car was displayed with when it came to my town on tour. It had them on the car and the display stand had them on the side talking about a new design.
