New 1LE from Pensacola

New car to me but not new to Camaro’s. Picked this up Memorial Day weekend. Pretty amazing for a factory car to do what this one will. Makes my built 70 Camaro seem really slow and flat! Looking forward to track days at NOLA and Barbers.

You are going to absolutely love this car, that color choice is beautiful too. I saw one in the same color at a dealership in Daytona over the weekend and thought it looked amazing! Congrats man...

Thanks. I told my wife about 6 months ago that if I found this exact car that I’d sell my other hotrods to buy it. I ended up only selling my 69 Dart GTS that was already for sale. I wasn’t going to buy it but she convinced me to get it. Helluva woman I got........30 years and going strong!

Congratulations on the Satin Steel Gray ZL1 1LE and welcome to the 6gen forum ZL1 club! Maybe some Saturday evening I will see yours at the cruise in on Highway 90 in Pensacola soon! I have a good friend and his wife that I have known since grade school that lives in Pace that I will go down to visit in a month or so and we most always make the Hwy 90 cruise to see what hotrods are there and ones that show up weather permitting of course! If I remember I will send you a PM the next time I’m down there to see if you might make the cruise in!

Welcome! I picked up mine just about a month ago and am also looking forward to many a track day, starting with SCCA Time Trials Nationals in Bowling Green in a couple of months. I saw your car at Pensacola C&C last weekend but didn’t get a chance to meet you and say hi.

we had the car at the cruise late Saturday evening. If I'm not in the new one I'll be in my yellow 70 or my old 66 Buick once I get it rolling good enough to depend on it! Hope to see you there. Also, Pensacola Cars and Coffee is huge too. Just had it Saturday morning....man was it HOT!

saw your car too and started to pull next to you when some bike dude snagged the spot. Your car looked AMAZING in the sun! It'd be fun to get more Camaro's together locally but everyone seems to go different directions.

thanks! Hope to see more of everyone. I'm back at work again this week so my jaunts around town will be done for a bit until we have a break from school. I teach at George Stone so it's our busy time of year.
