ARH Full System for 2018 ZL1

Looking to upgrade my exhaust system. Headers all the way back. With high flow cats. Anyone have experience with the ARH full system on a ZL1? Or best to keep the stock NPP?

In my opinion, ARH makes the some of the highest quality headers/exhaust in the business. ARH along with Kooks are the only two brands I would use. As far as the NPP, that is a personal decision. I don't use mine and keep the exhaust in track mode all of the time. Others need to quite it down for cold start in neighborhood, so it is really up to you.

I have the full ARH system from headers to tailpipes. I run their catless system. The headers and the entire exhaust system are extremely high quality. I ran a full Corsa sport system behind Kooks headers on my 2005 GTO and the fit, construction and quality of the ARH is every bit as good. The sound is excellent too, it has much more of a traditional muscle car rumble than other systems I have heard. I know the guys at Vengeance were very impressed with the sound after they did the install. It is not as loud at idle as some I have heard, just a deep rumble, but at part throttle and up it roars. I was surprised also that for a catless system there is absolutely no rasp whatsoever. The 2 inch headers fit perfectly as well, no issues.

Not a ZL1 here but fwiw I too have their full exhaust. Same as SJFGTO!. Catless from headers to tailpipe but I went 1-7/8th on the headers to try and retain a little low end and not worry about rubbing the steering column, etc.. You will lose the NPP feature but I ran my stock NPP with the fuse pulled anyway. Fitment was top notch and the quality of the welds and they way everything routes is also spot on.

I did have 2 resonators welded in just after the Midpipe to help tone down the drone. It still has a slight bit more drone than I'd like near the 2k mark. If you have the A10 that might not be an issue for you whatsoever.

The sound is like nothing I've ever heard before. Really amazing!.

As for the headers I wouldn't go any other way than ARH. Only ones certified by GM as well. Would love to hear the full system in person.

Cant go wrong with ARH. I am a fan of the long system connected to the factory mufflers. That is what we usually run here on most.

I do find myself always running in track mode. Just use tour mode when cruising the highway with the family. Does the full system void the entire warranty or just warranty for the exhaust system? From the few videos on the interweb yet to hear the zl1 full system. Clips that i heard do have that nice deep old school muscle car rip.
I dont plan on going any further with performance mods then portwd TB , snout , and supercharger. I assume 1 7/8" would be fine?

See post number 27. Full 2” ARH, no cats. Have had them on for a couple thousand miles. Sound great and make power.

Without the cats there is a small amount of drone at the lower RPMs. We have installed several of these complete systems and everone seems very satisfied overall.

No rasp without cats which is great! You can hear some drone at lower rpms but it is not at the obtrusive level or duration that becomes an irritating presence in the cabin.
