i bought the same one. works great. these di injectors are one thing that really made me uncomfortable. those seals just flop around and you cant see anywhere close to them down in the cylinder head upon install.

Out with the old an in with the new! That injector seal tool worked well, just seemed to need a quick clean out and it was GTG. Got the replacement injectors in, fuel rails installed, and new Brisk RR14S plugs (.028").

Got my new canister vent valve and new washer seals (washers with gaskets) yesterday.

Waiting on new intake manifold gaskets, IC gaskets, HW to bolt blower down, and new belt. Everything should be here by Friday!

Superchargers Online has helped out a lot here with the odd and end parts that I'm replacing while the blower is out. Makes no sense to risk a bad gasket, bolt, seals, etc so I'm replacing all of it. They somehow seem to have every little part and pretty fast shipping from CA to NJ! FYI if you need supercharger parts they appear have it.

Little more progress, the last of the parts should be here tomorrow.

Got the fuel hardlines in, added my second water/meth nozzle (1000cc and now a 500cc), and started prepping for all new gaskets.

Definitely want to replace the 2 hardlines, when you bring them up to tq you can feel them compressing to shape a little. Part #s are:

You sure have done a good job at going through this process. I’ve been reading your updates along the way. I’m looking forward to your next post tomorrow.

For comparison, I recently ran a compression check on my '14 SS 1LE LS3. Only mods are the Z/28 CAI, AFE/Pfadt headers and a tune. I had 240psi at the cylinders, cold engine, 42000 miles. I ran it pretty hard for break in, definitely not per the owner's manual.

I thought 240 was impressive, but 265, wow!

Well, I'm pretty happy this morning. Took it on a drive up and down a hilly road near me and cylinder #3 is no longer a hot mess when it comes to misfires.

So it was likely the injector. I did replace every seal along the way to include SC lid, SC intake manifold, IC bricks, and all the seal washers on the bolts that hold down the SC. I didn't see any obvious signs of leakage past any of them except the IC Bricks. My passenger side IC brick seals were leaking due to loss of tightness on the two screws that hold it into the SC. Replaced those seals as stated and made sure the screws were cleaned, primed, and loctited.

Pictures below show the before/after, I expect some misfire on decel, with big cam, etc but not what was going on with C#3. Top one is before, bottom is after my repair.
