He's asking $2,000, and someone right above you just said he paid $800 in shipping. Why would you even offer something like $1500 shipped? That's essentially offering $700 for something worth $2k.

Shipping is not as bad as one would think if you get it on a smaller sized pallet, bolt to the pallet, wrap in pool noodles and shrink wrap. I had a quote from FL to Michigan for like 286 bucks. Still a pain in the butt but definitely not 800!
