Has anyone actually tested or quantified that? GM probably uses these same endlinks on vehicles with stiffer swaybars than the SS 1LE, like maybe even some trucks and SUVs. The links are only in tension and compression, and my guess is they are way overengineered for the job.

The other benefit of aftermarket adjustable end links is the ability to unload the sway bar when the vehicle is at rest. This allows for equal roll resistance in either direction.

Both kropscamaro and Scargoes are correct with those points. That said, if your car isn't lowered and/or you can't/won't adjust and zero out corner weight diagonals, then I don't think you need aftermarket end links.

The heims also remove any deflection from the stock bushings, how quantifiable that is I'm not sure. Hard to tell for me personally

But the stock front endlinks also use ball joints, not rubber bushings.

Been a while since I changed them out, for some reason I was thinking one side had bushings. The spl end links are beefier, don't know how much of a difference people will feel but I haven't really noticed any. Will post up a comparison picture when I get home for reference
