Chip Tune Vs Regular
So I was looking into tuning soon enough, and I was set on a trifecta tune for a while kind of disappointed by the max gains they put out in their description as they always put out BEST CASE SCENARIO, claiming peak gains of 8 torque and 22 hp on a stock Camaro, but then I ran into a chip tune. I don't see a lot of information on it, it seems too good to be true, and it even comes with a little LCD screen, its a stage 4 PLP+ chip tune claiming peak gains of 40hp and 40tq. I don't expect all 40 but even have of it would be better than the trifecta. Is the tune too good to be true and is it just a big risk? I am stuck between the 2 now.
Also is there a way to quickly switch on and off a tune? Like a handheld device I can use to quickly turn things on and off? Here are the links to the products Trifecta: https://www.trifectaperformance.com/...aro-36l-elite/ Chip: https://www.performancechiptuning.co...hevrolet-2008/ |

On a basically stock V6 you'll gain maybe 10-15 hp at peak regardless of the tune. A tad more with E85. Don't let the marketing fool you. There's only so much that can be done here
