Thumbs up STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE LINES Development@Phastek Performance

Hey guys!

We have been getting a lot of inquiries lately about our brakes lines for the SS, mostly people asking if they fit the ZL1 or the ZL1/1LE. We knew for sure that there was a slight difference from the SS, 1 - being longer and 2 - having a slight curve on the front fitting.

Currently these are NOT available, we are using this ZL1/1LE as our test car, we will also be checking fitment on the SS with the 6 piston upgrade (more to come on that later). We are going to get these installed on our test car and check a few things out before we go into production, we just wanted to give everyone an update and rest assured we are working on a solution for you track guys.

Here are some features that these lines will offer:
  • Stainless steel braided hose
  • DOT compliant
  • Mounting attachment for strut
  • Steel fittings for corrosion resistance
  • Pressure tested at over 6000psi
  • Made in the USA

Stay tuned for more fitment pictures and testing information.

Before (Factory 100% Stock)

This post now has me thinking about the S/S braided hot & cold water lines I'd used under the dozen sinks in my house.
Hmmm.... I wonder how good these little 'ol Home Depot S/S braided lines will look on my 17 ZL1's brakes

I tested them on the track Friday. Checked them when I was swapping tires, no problems at all.
