LOL.... I had same thing happen to me on my CTS. I spent 10 minutes on my first fill up looking for the release inside the car....

i was about ready to say wow, but i wont. I wish this gas cover opened by a button in my car, because right it requires me getting finger prints all over it.

It will continue to open until the compressed spring wears out...then, all well. Couldn't they just make it open the easy way. When you get fancy, they seem to break a lot quicker.

Oh, my god!!!!!
I can hardly believe that I got banned once for responding to posts like this. I will do my best to not say anything else in this post so I won't get banned. However, I need to say that after a month of owning the car and prying the gas door open with your pinky, I can't believe you didn't happen to accidently figure this out on your own. People at GM nationals that were rudely touching the display cars and didn't even know anything about the new camaro, found out how to open the fuel door within seconds.

Maybe because they own GM cars that have this "feature". Had I not rented a Lucerne a few months earlier, I would not have known. On the first gas-ing off the Buick, I looked hi and low for the "release" button. |

That gas door thing is a puzzler for sure. A tougher one though is the headlight fluid cap...impossible to find.

I keep looking for a Power door button on the drivers door. When I commented to my son he pointed it out that it was placed in the center for International Market. It will work there too for RH drive. Less door panels and only one harness.

Don't feel bad. After living in this house for 3.5 years, I called up my wife at work one day to ask if she realized we have a nice tile backsplash in the kitchen?? It was the first time I'd ever noticed it
We all have our moments.

A few days ago I pulled into a gas station for my first fill-up, and as I turned off the engine I thought "wait... I don't actually have any idea how to gas up this thing." Then the other little voice in my head said "RTFM!" and my questions were answered.
