For those interested in the original OP rather than the now current post about clamps - Installed K&N 2 days ago after installing Mamo throttle body a few days prior. Didn't notice as much of change as I was hoping from throttle body but definitely can hear and feel the K&N. Maybe the two combined is what I'm feeling. Certainly louder Supercharger whine and very noticeable "gulp" of air sound, particularly on downshifts. I'm in a convertible ZL1 so maybe in a coupe it's not quite as noticeable. $1000 bucks all in.
