Dodge splitter guards

If you think the factory yellow splitter guards some Dodge owners leave on their cars are tacky, you'll love this coordinated ribbing.

They changed the color from the factory to. Made them pink instead of yellow so all the fools actually take them off.

Why doesn’t the dealerships take them off? I know...maybe they should just keep the shipping wrap on them as well. And all the plastic on the seats as well. Making them pink will not make them take it off. We will now just start seeing pink ones instead of yellow. But, not my car...not my call. Ugly as sin, but when you buy a car I guess it’s yours to make ugly if you want. Just as long as I don’t get hit with one that falls off, I really don’t care.

Most dealers do take them off. But there’s an aftermarket for people trying to buy them and add them back onto their car. Definitely not for me.

What's really funny is that when they keep them on for a long time and take them off, they find that all the dirt and debris that got in there scratched the hell out of the splitter anyway.

you don't even need to leave them on for that long. Buddy of mine bought one new with ~175 miles on it, and it was already scratched when they took them off at the dealership.

I don't know, I kinda like them ?!?! :-) Pretty sure I'll be buying a pool noodle for mine soon but I'll be getting blue to match my car.

Who cares what Dodge owners do or don't do to their own car.

But, I found the piece about folks poking fun at them to be hilarious!

I say bravo to those folks for having an awesome sense of humor.
