Another cold air intake??

Looking to pick up a cold air intake to complement my long tube headers and hfc! Will my stock airbox be ok, or should I buy aftermarket! I've read up on the cai,Roto fab etc, but wanted to know what everyone is running and have you felt any difference in performance. Thank you for any info you can share..

I am running the CAI, as far as power goes you will not really feel a difference. Sound wise it will make a big difference. You can hear it sucking air when you get on it. If you are wanting additional power and are planning on running a tune you may want to go for the Vararam tune version. I have a a tune but liked the overall look of the CAI. To each their own when it comes to this. Be ready for an overwhelming amount of responses/opinions on this subject.

I have a CAI. Mostly because jannetty ran tests with a bunch of different ones and CAI was at the top of the mark.

I don’t care what others might say. Get this GM unit and never look back. Period.

I am running a CAI. I liked the idea that it has an insulated closed box, to only suck in outside air (cold) A Teflon coated tube to help keep the air entering engine cold. Increase power not sure never dyno-ed it but it sure sounds nice when you step on it.

The GM unit seals on the contours of the OE under hood. Concept!

I love the look of the Z28 cold air! Just don't like the $500 price tag.

Clean engine bay you have there. I like the idea of a closed box like the CAI. Just looking for a clean, but functional system and I'm leaning more and more towards CAI, because of the closed box. Thank you for your input..

If I didn't already have my Vararam I would definitely be using GM's Z28 intake. Nice and clean OEM look, but at the same time you know something else is going on there.
