Great! To add to this, get this whenever you get a chance Best $15 I've ever spent:
https://www.amazon.com/RacingBrake-B.../dp/B01M03PHOF

Note: Thanks to a fellow forum member and good friend X25 . This made the whole "punching the pins" process a lot easier and stress free

2 Questions:

What to use to clean the calipers that won't harm the finish.

Also, assuming the pads are worn to the point of requiring replacement, what is the best way to get the pistons pushed back in? Does that require caliper removal?

I won't be able to answer to the first question since it's impossible to keep it clean with the pads that I use, I just don't care anymore

To push back the pistons; I use the existing/old pads and simply use it as a leverage. It didn't take a lot of effort even with the aggressive ST43s (raybestos) that I recently installed

I just used some zaino car wash and a soft rag, followed by a hose. Worked great!

Like the other dude said, you can usually just grab the old pad and pull it towards the caliper housing and compress them. Pull the cap off of the master and it will make it easier.

If you want to play it safe, get a set of caliper spreaders from auto zone.

So far I have like 100 miles and one nice bedding in session. I've used these pads before, but am noticing considerable less initial dust than I remember. I think maybe bedding them RIGHT away helped here.

Obviously too early for any real review, but I thought that was interesting.

For street driving so far they feel similar (after the bedding and top layer removal).
