Change out of K and N CAI to Cold air induction
So I have a problem. Going to put my new CAI from cold air inductions and the 1LE I bought has a a k and n already on it.
My issue is when they installed it, they removed the intake resonator hose. I've looked and dont see where it bolts to or where to buy one from. I'm in canada and this is my first post in the forum. Just bought it on Friday. So any help would be awesome. Even a couple pictures of it on with someone with Cold air inductions so I can see where it goes would be great. Thank you for your help. |

Did they just remove the hose or the entire resonator unit and bracket? You might be just as well off to buy a plug and clamp at a hardware store and plug the hole on your CAI for now. You may be able to find used resonator hardware in the forum classifieds for sale.

I was just worried I'd get a check engine light if I didnt have it but I guess it's not on now.

You shouldn't get any lights, no performance difference with or without the sound tube. As long as you've got the hole on the intake tube plugged securely it should be good to go.
