Rear Diff question

Hello
I have a 2019 2.0 turbo LT with 6 speed manual.I am changing the fluid and I know it has a limited slip rear diff dealer says I dont need the limited slip additive and he does not sell it. ( I dont think he knew what he was talking about) I have had a few limited Slip rears and always added the LS additive. So my question is do I need the additive and does the dealer sell it?
Any body have a part # or pic of it. I am fine using OEM fluids in rear diff.

You do need the additive or else your tires will chirp and the rear diff will groan around turns. I bought the fluid with friction modifier in it for mine but still needed more. I used most of another tube of friction modifier before my rear diff stopped groaning.

I figure my diff will stop groaning and I still have healthy skid marks. Hasn't anyone just rode it out till it finished breaking in? Actually its my first winter, and it seems like it stopped after a couple months.

Probably DEXRON LS Gear 75W-90 which includes slip addirive.

Or any 'LS' labeled fluid (ie penzoil) of same weight should be fine. I think diff MFG recommended Texaco. I would go with full synthetic regardless.

Yes, you need to flush it several times and add the additive.
