If you’re prone to modding then buying more car than you think you will want will save money in the long run, IMO. I don’t want to be one of the guys who buys an SS and in the end has spent ZL1 money and sacrificed warranty, reliability, and drivability for a car that still isn’t as good as a ZL1 in any real way.

The color looks dark but has a clear green tint in person. It looks more green in person than pics. I took this pic in the sun where the green shows up much better. I love the color.

Love the Rally Green LT1, it’s beautiful in the sun and I love the front end.

A tough choice for sure, but the LT1 is a hell of a bargain for the power and torque it delivers. Either way you’re gonna get a killer car.

Awesome color, killer wheels and I think these cars have the coolest looking headlights of ANY 6th gen package. Only thing I'd change would be to get smoked tails/3rd brake light and smoked side markers. Seriously cool car!

Well, I like the LT1, but it's really going to come down to what kind of deal, including incentives, I can get. Feb incentives should be announced tomorrow, so fingers crossed there is something better. Overall incentives on Camaro have been pretty bad lately.

There is a rally green 1LE at a dealer about an hour away, and they've had that car in stock a while so may be more motivated to make a deal. But it will clearly be the more expensive car.

So will see what kind of deal can get put together later this week and then decide.

For real if I was going to get a LT1 it would be just like that except with black wheels, (even though I generally dislike black wheels but in this case they're kind of necessary) and I'd get a custom license plate that says "BULLITT" just to mess with the Mustang guys. Lol

Saw a Rally Green 2020 at the dealer when I brought mine in for service. That is a really awesome color.

Technically he doesn't need any mods. I've seen plenty of bone stock cars at track days and I'm sure you have too. From a warranty perspective, he should follow the recommendations in the owner's manual and supplements for track events, but those aren't really mods.
