There is a table for the hysteresis filter controlling what you described when blipping the throttle.

I am trying to sort this exact issue out this winter. I only experience it at the track on DR's. Any moderate amount of RPM at the line trying to 60ft my 17 SS M6 with a whipple and it leaves, falls on its face and picks back up, best 60ft is 1.67. I have DSS axles and a Gforce driveshaft, so i should be good for a hard launch. weakest link is the clutch. Working with my tuner now to try and fix the issue, if not might reach out to Pray to see if he can help.
Anyone have any further input or details on this?

I have a 19 ss and have not felt any kind of bog, I think someone puts something in your head and the gremlins come out swinging. I'm speaking of the 19 SS A10 only. ****ing love this car.

Def not in my head, its more of a M6 issue and more prevalent on the ZL1's. Its even been addressed by GM in the Ask Al threads.

I noticed this recently on my m6 when I was coasting at idle and blipped the pedal—nothing happened for about half a second. Have not noticed it while launching aggressively though. I’m assuming modulating the clutch minimizes the issue... supposedley the computer is miminzing risk to the drivetrain.

The throttle by wire setups on Gen 6 Camaros do that. Unlike the old school cable operated throttles (where your foot made the throttle plate open) - these drive by wire setups work whereby your foot moves the gas pedal and then the engine computer decides how much the throttle opens - not you.

That’s weird. I would say if the track is there, a 1.5x is doable on a Bolton 6spd. If your tune is old maybe they’ve since figured out the bog too. Maybe worth a follow up.
Pray had this issue removed for a little over a year.

Pray or GPI can fix it via tuning.

Yea I thought if it could be figured out they both would. Looking forward to this fix on my LT1 being built next month after I get bored racing it stock. I will go with Pray as he was good to me on my '16 M6 SS. But this was before the bog fix. At the time the thinking was it was not in the tune. I am sure that SS making around 480-90 at the wheels was capable of more than 11.8 on a good pass. GPI has a good rep too. I would think Jannety would have an answer by now also. He tuned my car first and had some good stuff in that tune. But Pray had more time and the benefit of my logging. So he gave the car a nice bump.
People do get confused what we are talking about. It is not a thing on the street.

Do you know if they tune around it (like at the DD tables) or have they found a way to disable it entirely. Curious if it's a band-aid fix or a full cure.
I never launch mine hard, but I'm tired of that dead 1-2 shift and I feel like its the same issue.
