Hero morimoto sequential taillights Smoke vs Red

Thoughts on the hero morimoto sequential taillights?
I find these pretty cool and wanna put them on my 2017 Yellow RS with racing stripes. Just curious about the general opinion on them. Do people think you are a Lamborghini rip off? Lol
Also what are your thoughts on Smoke vs Red? Personally I feel the red will look better on a yellow car. I'm not a 'Stealth' kindof person, which you can tell from the color of my car. But then again I don't have much experience customizing cars and I know that 90% of people prefer smoked everything for some reason.

I've always thought these looked silly and ricey, there's a few of these in town. They look "trying too hard" .

Go with oem looking black taillights, much better option.

I had the Helix sequential tail lights on my 17 1SS which were pretty cool because they looked close to factory but had the separate turn signals of which I still have and can't use because I now have a 19 ZLE.

I'm also a fan of the OEM dark taillights as opposed to aftermarket, these ones scream too much "look, I'm like a Lambo" to me. Same as scissor doors. IMO this isn't "ricer" but rather "can't afford the real thing, just leave me alone".

That said, I respect the opinion of those who disagree, of course; this unit looks well made and not distasteful.

I'm coming to a conclusion that 90% of car guys will hate it. An average Joe will probably find it cool. I'm quite a newbie myself.
That said I've seen these taillights on the Corvette too so can't really blame a Camaro V6 lol

As a matter of fact I am, I got the harness to stop the lights from draining the battery so that took care of that and it will come with the lights.

Not a fan. I’ve seen a bunch of used ones being sold. Guessing people changed their minds. They have a certain...phallic...look to them lol

Ah ok. I had to look them up and tbh, not a fan, among other options that are available. Maybe if I saw in person it might change my mind.

Can't be cool on a Lambo and phallic on Camaro, lol. To each his own I guess. Btw I just added phallic to my vocabulary ��
