Your pictures do not show the door, you need to get lower and look upwards above the solid piece with the 2 holes. Look back at the original post with pictures to compare.

Just checked again. Can't find a door. Can the door be seen in the picture?

Glad I found this post. I didn't find anything else on the Internet. No YouTube videos, nothing at all. I haven't been on this forum in quite a while. Should have known the answer would be here.
It is a pain. Fortunately I had a clamp that I got at HF to hold 2x4s together so they don't warp and that was the perfect tool for squeezing the glovebox.
Finished and realized I had forgotten to spray with new car or learpther scent. I guess that clamp makes it easy enough to pull it back out.

Sorry, I dont make youtube videos. i find the whole home-style videos on there to be pretentious/narcissistic and I dont have the time to go pro. So forum posts it is.

I don't make YouTube videos either. It just surprised me there weren't any. As I mentioned I'm glad this post was here. It was extremely helpful. Actually that was the second place I looked because it's a common place for them but when I couldn't squeeze the glovebox I assumed it wasn't there.

Again really appreciate the post. Very helpful.

People are making this harder then it has to be. Empty glove box, on the right side slide clip forward to unhook, use a wonder bar (one inch wide pry bar) and place directly in middle of the left edge of box and put just enough pressure to visibly see the one inch wide "block" clear the lip that holds it in place, keep just enough pressure to keep from falling back in place and do the same on the right side. Once you clear the lip on the right side the box will swing down. There are two clips on the bottom of the filter cover that hold it in place, unclip and pull out cover, change filter and reverse. It took longer to empty the glove box then to change the filter.
