Turbo Mode Burn?

So I had my Camaro in track mode going about 95 miles an hour and I smelled a slight burning smell coming from the vent. Is this normal? My Camaro only has 3000 miles on it.

Ah ok. I was starting to get jealous.

I drive in Track Mode probably 95% of the time and have never noticed a burning smell at all.

I have also driven mine in Track Mode a lot with no burning smell. Could the smell have come from outside your car? Seems likely if the smell was coming from the vents.

If manual; might be the clutch slipping and giving you the notorious burn smell...

If you're running in fresh air mode, then it's probably from some outside source; especially if it goes away after a little while, and you get further away from the offending vehicle.
I like to have fresh air coming thru; only time I put recirc on is when I have to drive to/from Charlotte (there is a waste treatment plant next to I-85).
