Not at this time. The suspension balance is excellent, the brakes aren't being stressed, and I have no complaints underhood.

Oh, but I did turn over 20k miles while on-track this weekend.

I beat you by one weekend regarding 20K while on track! After I have my last event around Thanksgiving, I'm going to (finally) put the solid rear cradle bushings in.

Cool, congrats!

I actually had the GMPP solid cradle mounts on backorder earlier this year. It took so long that I canceled it. Of course one week afterwards they magically were available, but I haven't ordered them again yet. Maybe that'll be my springtime to-do. I'm just not thrilled with the big install those require.

Damn man, I can't seem to get away from you LOL (I'm the guy who sold you the Miata). Sold my Fiesta ST a couple years ago, but I just picked up a 17 SS 1LE and I'm loving it so far. Glad to see you on here!

Hi Matt! Great minds think alike.

Here is my latest Blackstone UOA sheet.

*941 miles is the factory fill
*6k interval at 15k miles is actually the 3rd fill, used over winter '17/'18. It's Valvoline SynPower 0W-20 Dexos1 Gen2. This lower viscosity is for winter/street-only driving.
*5,600 interval is the most recent, at 21k odometer. It's Castrol Edge 0W-40 A3/B4, a high SAPS package. Perfect for track days.

The wear metals are stable, so it's fair to say the engine is broken-in. I'm disappointed in the Valvoline sodium-based additive package and low flashpoint. The Castrol is on-point with it's higher additive package. I am also impressed with the factory fill flashpoint.

The car currently has Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 Dexos1 Gen2 in it for this winter, and then I'll likely go back to the Castrol 0W-40 A3/B4 in spring for next track season.

Great thread! I’ve learned a lot, and now on the lookout for ZL1 1LE calipers. Unless I found the wrong stuff, that Castrol oil is only $50 for 10 qts.

Is that right? Do you have a filter preference? I’ve seen good stuff on the Mobil1 and Royal Purple filter based on tear down videos on YouTube.

Glad it's helpful!

Yes that's the oil I use in the warmer half of the year. For oil filters I use the ACDelco PF64. It's a good quality filter and super inexpensive.

Good race alignment shop?

Hey. I saw your earlier track alignment post. Just wondering what shop is that? And any good recommendations around MI?

I've been using Detroit Tuned for my alignments. You can bring them whatever spec you like, but if you're not sure what you want, bring them your Performance Supplement and have them dial it in to that as a starting point for you.
