H&R 1.25” camaro ss/1le lowering springs

Was hoping someone had pics of this set up? Was thinking phasetech or eibach but I’m having trouble finding myself saying yes to. .5.7” drop with the pics I’ve seen. I’d like to lower mine around an 1” all around to 1.25”. But not sure if it’s gonna be a true 1.25 or less etc. thank you

After a few days with no responses, and some digging, i found a YouTube video “only one” with these springs. I took the plunge and got them. It’s a 1.25” drop all around “we’ll see” with my car. The one i saw seems just about perfect. The eibach was almost my choose cause the stance it gave was perfect just wasn’t low enough. I’m looking for that stance but about .25-.5” lower. Which these should give hopefully but st we all know here, each car is different. I’ll post pics here and maybe the “1le lowered” thread to help with anyone else looking.

So I’ve been busy and had a bday i hosted but still was able to pull off getting the rears done today. Well.....
I broke one of the rear mcr sensor that connects to one of the arms “not sure if this is the problem, i doubt it” but
The rear didn’t drop, at all. It’s actually higher and somehow higher in the front. It’s either the same or 1/4 inch higher then stock.
Also the rear driver side has a crazy amount of positive camber.... have no idea how or why.
These are suppose to drop a “Mrc” 1.25”.
I’m beyond lost at this point

If you didn’t drive or at least move the vehicle it will sit higher from being raised up oof of the ground, drive the car around the block and the suspension should settle a little

O ya probably. I did bounce it” like press on the trunk” to see if it would drop a little bit ya i need to drive it. Still doesn’t take care of the crazy positive camber on the right side. I’ll install fronts and drive it tomorrow. Will post

So got the fronts on and we’re a bit easier imo.
Took it for a drive to get them to settle real quick .

The drive, idk get more floaty imo. Idk might be over thinking it. But definitely, DEFINITELY heard some shit. I made sure everything was tightened down, no steps forgotten. And yet again, like every coil over swap or springs done, there’s always unpleasant “not clunking” but definitely like popping or rattling over regular rough roads unlike with my stock springs.

Ride height after “ only 10 miles on them keep in mind”

Stock
Front passenger 28”
Back passenger 28 1/2”

Front driver 27 3/4”
Back driver 28 1/2”

H and r
Front pass 27.5
Back pass 27 3/4”

Front driver 27 1/4
Back driver 27 7/8”

So i got approximately 1/2” drop front
And got 3/4” drop in the rear. I get they have to settle but these are suppose to be dropped 1.25” all around “mag ride” these were made for mad ride. No way they settle .5-.75” lmao

My main point is they definitely aren’t close to as low as they should be, and second have no idea why they sound so bad driving. After hours of working on this and putting them on. I’m just so disappointed and exhausted

Was the advertised drop for an SS (non-1LE) or specifically for the SS 1LE. I’m wondering if that might be the reason the drop you’re seeing is different than advertised.

So I went to the phastek website and the only H&R springs are these that I found. Not to be a dick but next time you have to buy the springs that are for your car.

Eibach and YYZ are the only 1LE specific springs...

Phastek once state theirs as SS and 1LE but to me that doesnt make sense as for example Eibach's even have a different part# so there should be something different.

Not to be a dick cheese, but yes i know, i know there is a difference and yes it is mag ride specific , vtiron.

That’s the link to the springs.
They did settle a little more I’m going to get an alignment and then remeasure cause they do seem lower now after driving another few miles and letting them settle more. I’ll try and take pics and upload at some point.

Because today i ended up going through everything “again” and retighten everything and kinda “ghetto” fixed the sensor for now so it works. And now the clunking is gone and everything seems to be running good. Ride quality just about the same.

Got it all aligned and 100% done. I don’t really have any before but we all know what stock looks like.

The drops looks nice. Most drop the rear too much.

How are you liking them so far?
