are you cammed? because there is no need for one unless your RPM is over 800. they dont free up power. They are meant to slow your steering pump and alt down with the higher rpm.

10whp for 450 is actually not bad at all... Adding to my list.

I got one now. We’ll see if I gain anything at the track

It’s 3 lbs lighter than the stock and is 10% underdrive. There’s no power steering pump or pulley on these cars btw. Electric power steering.
While they do claim to stabilize better at high rpm that’s not the only benefit. The slightly smaller pulley makes everything easier to turn. Being lighter is less for the crank to spin as well. It should free up some hp

Just don’t use the arp bolt

Has anyone checked out the Innovators West unit? Looks to be even lighter.

Just wondering what kind of gains everyone was seeing. Is it worth the cost?

Sometimes the cost versus the gains are not the greatest, but in the end its the sum of all those small gains that starts to make it worth while if you are chasing for good bolt on horsepower.

Well a couple people that have dyno them claim they are worth over 10 rwhp. That’s hard for me to believe. I would guess like 7-8. But hey maybe it true idk

I have messed with the tuning and conditions won’t be the exact same to compare from before. The car doesn’t feel slower is all I know lol

Hope I can make it out next weekend. Check the drag section

100% correct. I got a lot of little things on my car most would say not worth it. But in the end they not as fast as me lol

Yep...it's always those last few horsepower that have the worst cost vs hp ratio.

How is the long term of this? My old car, an frs, if you did a lightweight crank pulley or other pulleys, it added extra wear on the crank bearings as there wasnt enough weight to counter balance it. That is on a boxer motor which has less harmonic vibrations (is that the right term) than a standard v engine setup. They actually use a heavier aftermarket crank pulley. Could this happen with our engines as well, or since the engines are different it's hard to compare?
