As soon as codes are erased, car idles sooooo bad for 1-2 seconds and they come up again.

Kind of hard to do it wrong. Screw it in tight, turn it over for a few seconds, and make sure it held pressure.

You could get a bore scope and check the cylinder walls/top of piston too. They're cheap on Amazon.

Did you check for a broken valve spring or bent push rod? Very common.
