Fbo buzzing noise
I have a 2017 ss a8 fbo with e85 and now have a slight buzz almost like a light tap that sounds like it is coming from the drivers foot well area under light load driving around ive checked under the car for stuff touching/rubbing cant see anything was wondering if the aftermarket fuel lines can cause this? Car runs fine but its quite annoying with the windows up and the music on or off sounds like its in the heater core box if i lay upside down and give it gas while listening.

Video may help as it can be anything. Heater core is on the passenger side of the dash. Has this been going on ever since whatever you consider FBO was done?

I've experienced the same thing. It's like a buzz or rapid tapping as RPM increases. I'm thinking it's just header tick since it developed right after my long tube install. It's annoying and I'm definitely following this

I’m not FBO, but I do have long tubes with off road x pipe, CAI, and flex fuel e85 tune. I have the same “buzzing noise from the driver side on the bottom. I think it’s exactly where the headers curve up onto the engine. That’s why it should be making that noise?

If i had to guess, you exhaust is touching something somewhere. When I did my headers I had two rattles, one was at the cross brace behind the front seats. I used 1 washer on each bolt to help space it down. The other was where the catalytic converters were. The angle had to be slightly changed before and after the cats. I loosened and adjusted the angle many times to get it to stop. That one sounded like it was on the floorboard right before the front seat. Maybe check your clearances at those two spots, they might be touching. Use a small expandable mirror to check and something to slide around the exhaust, like a piece of paper or thin cardboard. I hope this helps!

i figured it out with a stethoscope was the e85 kits fuel line resting on top of the sound tube on the fire wall and the pulsation from the fuel passing thru was resonating in the cabin.
