So I took my whole front end off. Installing a new bumper was a nightmare not necessarily taking it off but removing all the old hardware and parts and putting them on the new one. The most difficult/annoying part was the fog lights or DRL's. The new bumper didn't come with the plastic bezel fascia that the fog lights attach to. The old bumper I had to pry the bezel off because GM decided they would heat weld that permently onto the bumper. I didn't heat weld it back onto the new bumper I just used some glue. I also didn't realize there was a air deflector panel attached to the bezel and DRL lights to. I can totally see why they don't offer that plastic DRL trim piece as a replacement because it can't really be replaced. Anyone have any experience with that piece in particular?
