It looks fantastic. Love the styling. I'm actually interested in this (which means it'll start at 80k).

This one looks better than the gas version and depending on interior maybe better than the Cadillac Lyric too.

My first initial thought. Hot Dang it looks good!

After stewing on it for a few minutes. The front end is a tad busy (surprising for an EV) but other than that based on what I can see here it still looks pretty great. That's good, considering that (in my opinion) the current Blazer looks pretty sweet and stylish for a mid-size SUV.

I don't know what it is about the Cadillac Lyric, but at first I really liked that thing, and now every time I see it just looks worse and worse. Without those top of the line wheels, I'm not even sure I like it. This 100% looks better to me than the Lyric.

Now....I don't see much reason (if any reason) the ICE powered version of the Blazer couldn't look exactly like this EV version. Will there even be another ICE powered generation of Blazer? I'd like to think so. I have little doubt this Blazer SS will be fast and handle well, but I'm also certain it will cost as much or more than a ZL1 Camaro. I'd expect it to be in the same category as the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance in terms of performance and price...and that thing starts at 65K.

Let's hope Chevy is smart and offers looks like this, at a less performance and less price point. An RS version that looks aggressive similar to this, but at least 10 - 15K less than my "guestimated" price is what is needed.

With Equinox EV LT starting at $30k, I'd guess a Blazer EV LT will end up somewhere in the $35-40k range.

Lyriq comes incredibly well-equipped at $63k so I would hope this thing is in that ballpark.

This is why these renderings should be taken with a grain of salt every time.

Ford gets the Bronco Raptor, Chevy gets a Blazer EV.

Anyone else more curious about a regular Blazer SS than the EV version?

I wouldn't hold my breath.

Although I do like the fact that this doesn't exactly scream EV. If you told me it had a 3.6L V6 in it I'd believe you.

Blazer EV "SS"?....Might as well be a Camaro EV....Looks more like a future EV Camaro than any Blazer...What more "SS Performance" could an EV Camaro have?...lol

Yeah...that's the thing. No doubt a Camaro EV could likely be setup to handle a bit better if they wanted to, but there's no reason the Blazer EV can't be just as fast as a Camaro EV. It's all in how GM wants to set it up really. One, two, or three motors, and then past that it's just software. How much power will GM engineers "program" into that particular vehicle? Being that these are all on the same platform, there's no more "well, that platform can't accommodate the V8". That's out the window. Now, aside from a little extra weight, and wind drag, the Blazer SS should/could be just as fast as a Camaro EV would be. Not saying that's a bad thing, but at the same time kind makes me wonder why would I ever buy a Camaro EV over something like this when its just as fast, probably not much more expensive, and way more practical.

If the ICE Blazer was sold with a 6.2 V8, the only reason I wouldn't be in one versus my Camaro SS is if it was priced way higher. (which by the way, I think the Camaro LT1 or 1SS are relative bargains in today's world)

I'm not going to lie, that looks pretty fantastic. It has just enough EV styling cues without the bold in your face screaming EV styling most have.
