Lightweight Batteries

Anyone have any experience with AntiGravity Lithium Batteries? Thinking about picking one up to drop some weight out of the ZLE for the track.

I have one, been running it for a year and a half. Saved over 30lbs compared to the stock battery.

I first bought a 30a Antigravity and then my current 60a. I don't have much faith in my alternator.

You guys are running lithium batteries on these vehicles without any additional mods to support it?

Not a smartass question, a legit one. I'm genuinely curious, that may be one of my next mods coming up.

yup as long as you have the right one with enough amps no issues

i even have a app on my phone that manages it and it even has a auto jumpstart built into it also if it ever dies !

Most lithium batteries are only.capable of withstanding an average of 100 amp draws with a burst of 150-200 amps at best though. That's the only part that worries me.

Well that's the magic of lithiums, if they don't have any electricity draw, they can sit stored for literally years without needing a tender or a jump.

What battery did you use? The Antigravity 60a? It's been a while since I shopped for lithiums, but I want to re- spec it out and see what it's working with.

The only downside is the cost. I run those on my bikes which go long periods unused (i'm too cheap to put in the cars)
