What to do?

I smacked a curb pretty good last night. Now I'd like to replace the damaged wheel, but can't seem to find one. Is there someone who can fix it? Preferably in SC?
...Oh, right rear.

I am sure there must be some place nearby that does wheel repair. If not just Youtube wheel repair, its a 4 to 5 step process of sanding or wheel grinding followed by a 2000 grit wet sand, and then final painting/clearcoat. Once done you will be the only one that will ever know the difference.

Contact hawksmotorsports they probably have one in the yard. Plus they are in SC.

Note: those wheels new, are not cheap. Last I looked, they were right about $1,000 each from the dealer.

And don't let a wheel repair person tell you that these are painted wheels and try to repair it with filler and matching paint.

The wheel you have is bead blasted (the light silver areas and a little bit in the inner rim barrel) and selectively polished on the spoke flats and rim edges.
The only thing that covers the wheels is a clear powder coating.
(this was confirmed by a GM design engineer)

I too, have rashed a couple of wheels on my ZL1.

One thing I have found is that if the polished areas get damaged, all that is needed to repair is to sand and polish the affected areas without reapplying the clear powder coating.

Because these are forged wheels, the aluminum will not turn to a brownish color like on exposed cast aluminum wheels.
I have repairs that are 5 years old and those spots still look freshly polished
And, my car is not garaged.

I got some rash on one of my ZL1 wheels long ago. When I bought my 2013 ZL1 I did purchase a wheel/tire warranty from the dealer.

Good news is I had two rear tire issues and they replaced them both at no cost to me, the warranty covered them.
The bad news, when I asked about the warranty covering the wheel with the rash, they told me that as long as the wheel still holds air, it's not covered.

Perhaps the next time I rub up against the curb, I just need to back up a bit and HIT THE CURB HARD.
(grin)

A good wheel restorer can fix this curb rash easily and have you on your way. You will need to search google for alloy wheel restorer near your area.
