Smoked/Tinted Side Markers
Really Sorry...if this has been asked/discussed, before. I tried to do a search...but the sites, search function...wouldn't work...No matter how I tried.
I am looking for...Smoked/Tinted side markers. I have seen some posts on them...like from Diode...I have seen...Hero from...@ Phastek too... They are...kind of...Pricey! lol I am looking at these...anyone have them...how are they? The... Sale Price...is Nice! I have the Diode dynamics and although on the higher price side, they look great and better than just a tint imo. i think they are worth the visual upgrade for sure.

I had some (I think JDM) but one bank of LEDs went out in the back. SO I just ordered and received some from China. Got two sets incase they go out. If they look good I will keep them, if not then it was only 40 bucks for two sets. Once I get my car back from the shop I will install them.

I heard too many horror stories about LED ones failing so I just got a cheap set of tinted ones that use the OEM bulb holder and replaced the bulb with an LED one

I have the Diode Dynamics Smoked LED Side Markers and love them. I also have a Phastek Hero Smoked Rear Reflectors and love those too...

I also got the Amazon ones. I had some VHT nightshade laying around. Did two coats VHT, then 3 coats clear. Practically Invisible until the lights go on.

 The ones that posted pix...they all look great!  I couldn't get through Camaro Lighting...via email or phone...so said...Not ordering through them... Sooo... I...ended up scoring a set of...Diode Dynamics DD5063s off ebay...New! They were asking $127 with Make an Offer...got them for...$100! Thanks again for all your posts and suggestions...I really appreciate the help!

I ordered a cheap set off of Ebay 2 years ago for $40, they look just as good as the expensive ones and are still going strong. Let me look on my phone and see if I have a pic of them.
EDIT Here is a current pic of my car with them and an older pic with them actually lit up.

Both the Diode Dynamics and HERO Tinted Side markers for 6th Gen Camaros are great choices for LED Side markers and really change the look on these cars compared to the stock bulb. Both Manufacturers offer a warranty with these products so as long as you are still within your warranty period just report any issues you have with them to us and we will go from there.
The HERO Side markers have more LEDs in them so they almost go edge to edge on the marker it's self and have a slightly darker tint to them as well compared to the Diode Dynamics but both really change the style of the car during day and night once installed. -Trae |

I'm on my third set of Diode dynamics and on both the fronts half of the upper segments are dead. Keep your receipt as you'll need it as they ask for an invoice, buy the eBay ones you can get three or four sets for what the DD cost, that and you won't have to ship them back, just pop in a replacement.
